Hot Gingered Fruit Salad

Ingredients

CANNED FRUITS

  • Pear halves, drained and cut into chunks
  • Pineapple chunks, drained
  • Cherries, light or dark, drained
  • Peaches, plums or any other fruit

  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 3 to 5 tablespoons Darigold Butter

Instructions

Drain all fruit and put in ovenproof casserole dish. Mix brown sugar with spices and sprinkle with butter. Dot with butter. Place in oven at 350°F until very warm about 15 to 20 minutes.

This is also wonderful with meat dishes such as chicken, roast pork or ham.
